Radio Australia -- Another Voice from Down-Under

Radio Australia

Never confused ABC with ABC ! Not, it is not the American Boadcasting Network. The A, in this case, stands for Australian.

"Radio Australia is the international service of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the ABC. For more than 60 years we have sought to foster international understanding of Australia and to report the world through Australian eyes."

International Broadcasting Companies are so refreshing. It is not that the American broadcasting system is bad, it is that fact that they have only one way of viewing the world. Although ABC is still myopic in a different way, it is, nevertheless, another voice to listen to, just like the BBC is. Visit the ABC home page at http://www.abc.net.au/ra/about/default.htm

As with most broadcasting world media ABC seems to be good at covering certain topic. Please dropin on : http://www.abc.net.au/rn/science/mind/ by all means. This ABC url called The Mind. "The Mind is Radio National's weekly foray into the mental universe, the mind, brain and behaviour - everything from addiction to artificial intelligence. Presented by Natasha Mitchell and joined by David Rutledge."
