Thermal camera may detect lying

Still in the experimental stage but is surely receiving a boost for quick commercial development, a special thermal cameral focused on a face can quickly determine the sincerity of anyone being questioned -- all without contact.  All of this can be done in real time by anyone one -- there is NO heavy training to learn how to use this new "spy" equipment, you just have to be observant.

These new device are most likely getting HIGH attention, especially in light of the 9/11 catastrophe in New York City. Heavy usage is also expected at border crossings.

There are plenty of potential ethical ramifications for this new tool. We are blessed with freedom, but freedom is a very thin veneer and the more tools for covert privacy invasions become available, the thinner the veneer.
