Perhaps all of us, at some time, have been sucked-in into believing into some fantastic invention or secret that is completely going to revolutionize the world.  Barnum said "A sucker is born every minute." I've been one of them and (don't be ashamed!) the chance are very good you have been one in the past. Yet having said all that, and having the wisdom on past experience, you and I are still just as vulnerable as before unless we come to understand what it takes to develop crackpot schemes.  Never underestimate the cleverness of the scam artists. They are so clever that they simply would make fortunes in just plain and "honest" marketing if they decided to live a straight-life. 

You can't go to "scam school" -- everything about this type of scamming is learned in the trenches. However, someone managed to be very observant and put together of guide which will enable you and I to at least detect the possibilities of new scams.
