How many times have you gotten a message where a telephone number is given but no address is provided? This happens a lot on the Internet. I don't know why these site owners make it so difficult to really know who they are and where they are located -- the legal system is way behind on this one -- time to have full-disclosure legislation, right? The link to this site lets you do a quick area code lookup. You may also use services which does what is called reversed lookup. Here you enter the telephone number and the identity of the telephone number owner is revealed -- only if the telephone number is published. These reverse number lookup services used to be free, however, most of the services are now charging a fee -- thus they do not deserve to be mentioned here. I sincerely believe that this type of charging service that should be sponsored by advertisers to make it free for the rest of us.
