More powerful than your vote!

You've got more power than you think.

You as a citizen, have a trump card so powerful that it can effectively restrain the insanities of governments and legislators. No many of us realize that you have the power to say "NO" to government if you feel that laws are unjust. Yes, I know what you are going to say: "I have a vote", but that is not the trump card I am talking about, there is a much more powerful tool that each of us, as a registered citizens have. At the onset, let me tell you that it is imperative for each of us to register to vote, and you will see why in a moment.

Where is the power coming from? From you as a jurist. In the US, our founders made sure that we had the control against bad laws and government with a check and balance against the whole system -- all with the right of trial by jury. You as a jurist can judge the LAW and well as the evidences and can decide if a law is unjust or misapplied, or that the rights of a peer has been violated. Here, we are talking about JURY VETO POWER that can nullify bad laws in the courtrooms of Americas.

The http://fija.org provides the drums to make sure that this power works and continue to work as our fore fathers intended. This organization says: "The farther and faster the truth about jury veto power spreads, the more likely are you and your children to enjoy the American promise of liberty and justice for all." We all need, each one of us, to provide the drumsticks and the rolls to make this legal system work right. The judges in this country should be obligated to read our true rights as jurists just like law enforcement is obliged to read the Miranda rights.

Please visit, http://fija.org/abbrhope.htm to get more details on this important subject. There is a lot more to all this, so make sure you also visit their entry page of the Fully Informed Jury Association  at http://fija.org
