Irfanview is a very fast FREEWARE 32-Bit graphic viewer for Window 9x, Windows NT and Windows 2000. Irfanview provides animated GIF viewing support. Very basic graphics manipulation such as rotation, sharpening, color tweaking, gamma corrections, and conversions is provided by this neat piece of software. It is a snap to convert any image from large graphics to more efficient, compressed formats such as converting BMP to JPG. For conversion, simply open an image and then use the "SAVE AS" instead of "SAVE." Saving it this way allows you to select what type of graphics file you want to convert to. IrfanView also has one neat feature, the ability to quickly generate thumb-sized images of all viewable graphics in any directory. I have been using this program for a long time and I surely would not part with it.
