Arts and Letters Daily

http://www.aldaily.com/arch02.htm

The magazine Lingua Franca and its parent company University Business LLC filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. Fortunately, one of its publication, Arts & Letters Daily [  http://www.aldaily.com/  ] has been kept afloat but I don't know for how long. I sincerely hope that the valliant efforts of the existing editors will keep this wonderful resource accessible to all of us. For now, the complete 2002 archive is available at: [  http://www.aldaily.com/arch02.htm  ]and the 2001 archive at: [  http://www.aldaily.com/arch01.htm.  ]

The Arts & Letter Web site indicates the following: "The Arts & Letters Daily Archive contains all links that have been removed from the main page. Most of the links in this Archive will eventually become inert. Because we do not retain copies of linked pages, we are unable either to trace or to retrieve this older material. This Archive is our only record of links that have been featured by Arts & Letters Daily. For items removed last year, see our 2000 Archive. You can also view our 1999 Archive and our 1998 Archive."

The point is, please do not be disapointed if old links are broken. Our site, the herff.com suffers from the same symptoms.  I've experienced a loss of 15% of my total links due to broken links in just one year.

Please visit this site and drop a note to the editors to encourage them to keep up the good work despite the the demise of Lingua Franca.
